We are holding our second AGM meeting on Monday 20 November 2017 to report on our activities and financial position. At the AGM we also elect the Committee for the forthcoming year, and we would be delighted for more volunteers. The Women In Tax network was formed in mid-2015, with the objective of raising the voice of women in all spheres of tax and being a supportive network for those at an early stage of their careers. Our launch event on 2 November 2015 attracted an audience of around 100 and we are now holding events in Edinburgh, Cambridge, the Thames Valley, Manchester, Bristol, West Mids, East Mids and Leeds as well as events in London.
Our annual panel debate (held in London) and Speaker Series of events are open to all (women and men) with an interest in tax. Our Masterclass Series are small, practical workshops where we welcome women working or wanting to return to the tax profession (such as accountancy, law, in-house, academia, and government).
